| About | Balls out hard n heavy rock from Caerphilly! 5 piece rockband Blackwaters have wowed crowds from Swansea, Cardiff, and Newport all the way to the o2 areana London with catchy hooks, singalong choruses, heavy riffs, screaming leads and head banging drums!We even broke the BRFM internet online viewing as too many people tried to tune in!! Many influences are found within their music, from AC/DC to ZZ Top, Alter Bridge to Thin Lizzy. They also have more soulful tracks to show off their song writing abilities.
Blackwaters are also known to extend to full sets with a full array of covers to suit all crowds and venues, playing from rugby clubs, birthdays, rock venues, and a few weddings!! During 2011 the band started making headway throughout the valleys and cities of Wales, hosting slots on a number of radio stations and playing many gigs. The highlight of the year was winning the Welsh regional finals at this years Surface Festival at the Coal Exchange, and heading to play the International final the Londons O2 Arena, gaining vast knowlege and alot more fans along the way!
