Rates start at £20 Per hour for recording, with offers for longer sessions or multiple bookings, also there are rehearsal facilities that start at £9 per hour with negotiable rates for longer sessions or block booking. For a small extra fee your rehearsal can be recorded and transferred to CD for you to take away.

At The Green Rooms we aspire to make your rehearsal and performance experience as relaxed, friendly and professional as possible. We aim to help new bands take their first steps into performance, learn, grow and ‘get them noticed’ we also want to provide good quality, comfortable facilities for established bands. We have four fully equipped, clean, acoustically treated rehearsal rooms provided with top range vocal PA and drum kits. We pride ourselves on clean and well maintained facilities and equipment. We also have a licensed showcase venue so you can take the leap from rehearsals to a live gig or for more well established bands to showcase their music. Our stage is fully equipped with 5000w rig including a top spec vocal PA. We also have a DJ booth fully kitted out with CD/IPod/Vinyl DJ decks and mixer for aspiring DJs. By day the venue is transformed into a plush licensed lounge area serving refreshments and hot/cold snacks to relax whilst rehearsing or meeting up with friends.

The Boom Boom Room is a brand new recording studio/practise facility located just outside the centre of Newport. The facility is run by Jon Maguire, Dan Bethell, Kob and Elliot Blake. The boys have many years of musical experience behind them and have been in such bands as The Guns, The Story So Far, The Kennedy Soundtrack, Set In Motion and My Favourite Pornstar. The room is available 7 days of the week at any time for rehearsals. Recording is available 7 days a week between 10am and 5pm. The Boom Boom Room's producer Jon Maguire has recently completed a degree in music and has been recording bands and artists for over 6 years. He recording credits include work for: Virgin Records, Media Village Group, The Story So Far, Set In Motion, Snakes Hate Fire, Dane Lloyd, Jon Lilygreen, Drafts and Lego Castles to name just a few. We are currently charging introductory recording rates of £65 per song. Practises are currently 20 pounds for 4 hours and include cabs, drum kit and PA.
